The entire Saleem family became believers in Jesus Christ after the amazing Near Death Experience of Shahid Siraj Din, the brother of Dr Tahira Saleem. Shahid Siraj Din was a property developer.

On 6th March 1990, at the age of 31, Shahid Siraj Din died for 4 minutes in the Emergency Room of Aadil Hospital, Defence Housing Authority, Main Boulevard, Lahore, Cantt, Pakistan. When Shahid's heart stopped he experienced a cardiac arrest. At this point, Shahid's spirit left his body. He felt his spirit travelling towards Heaven. He saw the Angels of the Lord, and all of his life was revealed to him, like a video film. Shahid saw Jesus Christ far in the distance, surrounded by a radiant robe of light. Jesus Christ told Shahid, 'Go back to Earth'.

Shahid's body was resuscitated using a defibrillator machine. A subsequent report showed only 20% cardiac damage, which can only be described as a miracle.

Shahid had met the Risen Jesus Christ, and it changed his life. He gave up his work as a property developer, and became a well known evangelist in Pakistan for many years.
