Jacob and Esau in the womb
Jacob and Esau in their mother Rebecca's womb are described as "children" not "foetuses". In fact, the Latin word "foetus" does not appear in the Bible at all.
"The children struggled together within her," Genesis 25:22.
Jacob was very much a little human being in his mother's womb. He grabbed hold of his brother Esau's heel, as described in Hosea 12:3, "He (Jacob) took his brother by the heel in the womb".
