DNA: God’s design code in every single cell
DNA is God's genetic design code, and is present in every cell of our bodies. The DNA design code in every cell contains the complex genetic blueprint for all physical development. This includes all the necessary information for each specialised cell to develop. This is how the human baby is created in the womb, using the design code, DNA, given by God.
The information in the DNA includes information about construction of the brain, the heart, the liver, the circulatory system, the skeleton, and all of the other complex biological systems of the human body.
There are 75 trillion cells in the human body. Each cell has a full complement of chromosomes in its nucleus. Each nucleus has 46 chromosomes made up of 23 pairs, one pair from the father and one pair from the mother of each individual. Each chromosome contains a strand of DNA.
Each strand of DNA includes hundreds of millions of base pairs. Stretched out straight each strand of DNA would measure 3 to 9 feet long and about 20 atoms across.
DNA was discovered in 1952 and is composed of Adenine, Thymidine, Guanine and Cytosine. DNA is an extremely complex molecule, and is the design storage medium of the human body. DNA is in fact a very complicated digital code, with immense storage capacity.
Every single cell in the human body has a design code, with information about how it should function, repair itself and reproduce. The DNA code includes details of our height, our personality, our intelligence, the colours of our eyes and other physical attributes.
It is interesting to note that there is not a single instance of any computer software on any computer on Planet Earth which arrived there by chance! The traditional view taught in many universities is that DNA evolved by "Spontaneous Generation". This view is not shared by all secular scientists.
There is not a single computer code on a single computer anywhere on planet Earth that arrived there by chance, or evolved spontaneously. This subject is discussed in detail in our teaching on Creation and Evolution
COMMENT BY SIR FRED HOYLE, LEADING UK SCIENTIST
Sir Fred Hoyle, a Nobel Prize winning scientist in the UK, wrote: "The likelihood of the formation of life from inanimate matter is one to a number with 40 thousand noughts (zeros) after it. It is enough to bury Darwin and the whole Theory of Evolution. There was no primeval soup, neither on this planet nor on any other, and if the beginnings of life were not random they must therefore have been the product of a purposeful intelligence"(Nature: Vol. 294:105, 12 Nov 1981
Sir Fred Hoyle calculated the odds of only the proteins of an amoeba arising by chance as one chance in 1040,000 (Quoted from Chuck Missler: "The Creator Beyond Time and Space"). This is a colossal number!
It can be calculated mathematically, using Switching Theory, that the chance of one DNA molecule occurring randomly is one chance in 1053 (Chuck Missler: The ET Scenario). The scientific community discounts any "chance" greater than one chance in 1050, which means that DNA could not possibly have evolved by Spontaneous Generation!
