This is to express our heartfelt gratitude for sendingÂ Dr. Richard Kent and Rev. Roger French to our country to minister to us spiritually and materially.Â

We would like you to know that these servants of God, while here, used most of their time sharing the Gospel to the inmates and prayed for them. They preached in different churches inside the Maximum Security prison compound, in the Medium Security compound, and in the Correctional Institution for Women.Â

Many prisoners received the Jesus Christ as their Lord and SaviourÂ by their evangelism andÂ the Christian inmate brothers were encouraged and empowered by their preaching and teachings. Glory to God!
Dr. Kent and Rev. French also conductÂ seminars which are attended by more than a hundred Pastors and Christian Workers from the different churches of the province of Laguna, and they also sponsor a feeding program for about 100 school children.

I want to thank you brothers and sisters for sending Dr. Richard Kent and Rev. Roger French to our country.Â

Thank you so much because they were both used by God in our country especially in prisons for both men and women. While they were here in our country they used their time preaching, teaching and evangelizing the Word of God not only to the prisoners, but also to civilian in Binan Laguna.Â

InÂ Laguna they feed the malnourished children and conducted a film showing of The Lazarus Phenomenon.Â

After their arrival they went to different compounds in the National Bilibid Prisons namely: Maximum Security Compound composed of 12,000 inmates, Medium Security Compound of around 6,000 inmates and the Correctional Institute for Women with more than 1,000 residents.

Thank you so much brethren. They helped us in spreading the Word of God.

Not only did they help our countrymen with the Word of God but also in sharing their material blessings to us.Â

Report from Pastor Fernandez Ding, Peace Church, Laguna, Philippines, 12th October 2008

My family and members of the Peace Church, Laguna, Philippines, would like to thank Dr Richard Kent and his friend and pastor Rev Roger French have been with us for the last two weeks. Whilst here they were involved in the following activities:Â

1. Tuesday October 7th 2008, they conducted a leadership conference for Pastors and Church Leaders.Â

2. Saturday October 11th 2008, they provided food for malnourished children of Platers Elementary School, film showing, and evangelistic crusade.Â

3. On most days they went to the National Bilibid Maximum Security Prison.

4. They also visited the Correctional Prison for Women, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and also the Medium Security prison.Â

5. On Sunday 12th October 2008 they preached the Gospel in our church, and many were saved, healed, and Baptised in the Holy Spirit.Â

Dr Richard Kent and Rev Roger French did amazing things for my family. They bought a 20-seater Jeepney for my family to expand our Jeepney business, which is how my family earn our living.Â

We consider that this unforgettable act of generosity is a miracle and blessing from God. Our hearts are full of joy, and my family are really happy. We are so amazingly blessed. They really helped us a lot both spiritually and materially. Dr Richard Kent and Rev Roger French are men of God and true servants of Christ. They came to the Philippines to serve the local people, including my family and church.Â

May the abundant blessings of God and His protection be always with you.Â

Rev Roger French is a Bible Teacher

Richard has always felt that a gifted Bible Teacher would be of enormous benefit to this mission. Richard was therefore delighted when Rev Roger French agreed to come to the Philippines in 2008, and will be coming again in October 2009. His Bible teaching is greatly appreciated by the prisoners within all of the prisons, and also in the churches outside the prisons.

Roger is a wonderful Bible Teacher, and is greatly used by the Lord in teaching within the prisons, and also at churches, ministerâs seminars, and outreaches for children and adults. Richard is delighted that Roger now accompanies Richard on these trips to the Philippines. Â

Rogerâs complete Bible teaching in MP3 format has been made available to Pastor Lucas.

Dr Richard Kent is an evangelist, with additional Bible teaching, books, and movies, specifically designed for unbelievers

Richard is basically an evangelist. He always starts evangelism at prisons by speaking to the prison guards, who all carry guns. Richardâs approach to evangelism everywhere is basically very direct, either individually, in small groups, or very large groups.

Richard simply asks people if the would like to go to Heaven when they die. Richard explains the Gospel clearly, and then leads them in quite a long prayer, which does involve listening carefully to the Holy Spirit. This prayer does, hopefully, involve real repentance, and forgiveness.

Mission to the Maximum Security Prison, Philippines by Dr Richard Kent and Rev Roger French

Dr Richard Kent and Rev Roger French regularly travel to Death Row in the Philippines, within the New Bilibid Prison, Manila.

Richard was first invited to the Philippines in the year 2000 by Pastor Gordon Smith, who is still very much interested in work in the Philippines. There was originally a team of six believers from the UK, and this team originally stayed at âHalf Way Houseâ near the main prison, where ex-prisoners are released to the world.

The âJesus Heals Campaignâ in Hyderabad, India, January 2009,

In January 2009 a team of five Christians were invited to visit by The Kings Temple a very large church in Hyderabad, India. We were invited as members of the annual âJesus Heals Campaignâ in Hyderabad by the senior pastor, Pastor Raj, was a personal friend of Ron Hellyer, a well known UK evangelist. Ron went to be with the Lord in 2008, only a few months before the trip.

The team comprised Dr Richard Kent, Dave Moore, Louise Russell, Simon Day and Paul Pimenta. The team had first met each other at the first of two UK planning meetings for this Jesus Heals Campaign evangelistic campaign. We met up again at Gatwick, and flew via Dubai to Hyderabad, India.
